Overlooking the sea, the fabulous 3-star Ocean Breeze Hotel Strand features a terrace and an outdoor swimming pool. Situated on the beachfront, the low-budget hotel is approximately 10 minutes by car from Gordon's Bay Main Beach.
The property is located in the very heart of Strand only 8 minutes' walk from Voortrekker Park Resorts and approximately 10 minutes by car from Waterworld Strand. The hotel is not too far from Greenways Strand Golf Estate On Sea and 35 km from Cape Town International airport. A blue Flag beach is nearly a 5-minute walk from the fabulous accommodation, while Lwandle Migrant Labour Museum is situated about a 10-minute ride away.
Ocean Breeze Hotel features 37 rooms equipped with high-speed internet and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels as well as tea/coffee making equipment. Guests can also use a walk-in shower and a hot tub, along with such amenities as guest toiletries.
The Ocean Breeze Strand provides a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast at the pool bar. There is a lounge bar on site. It also welcomes guests with billiards and karaoke.

As a tea plantation owner from Galle, my family and I recently escaped to Ocean Breeze for a vacation. The hotel’s location is a great mix of beach and mountains—perfect for family fun. We loved indulging in fresh seafood at the restaurant. It was quite convenient after a long day of exploring! our experience was marred by some issues. The unit wasn’t thoroughly cleaned upon arrival, and there was an unpleasant odor in our non-smoking room. The noise from renovations was also a letdown. We had some parking troubles with a leaking roof, and unfortunately, I was left to deal with the repercussions of that. The hotel’s staff was friendly and eager to help. The breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean from our room made for splendid evenings, and we enjoyed a sunset cruise that was a highlight for my kids. While the hotel offers family-friendly amenities like swimming pools and nearby golf opportunities, my overall experience wasn’t what I had hoped for. Maybe this place has improved since then, but I don't plan on returning.
